Designed with researchers in mind we offer state of the art facilities including two depth rooms/usability testing labs with observation for eight through one-way mirror. Plus a stylish and comfortable focus group studio.

Location

We are conveniently located in the centre of Edinburgh, close to both main train stations, and only 30 minutes from the airport.

Viewing Facilities Checklist

All VFA members are required to have studios fitted with either one-way mirrors and viewing booths, or good quality CCTV systems.

  • Viewing room can accommodate up to 10 people
  • Boardroom format suitable for up to 14 people
  • Audio, Digital, DVD and Video recording equipment
  • Broadband-enabled studios
  • Equipped for video streaming
  • Test kitchen
  • Reception room
  • Breakout rooms

All studios will be able to supply flip charts, overhead projectors, large screen TVs, video player, DVD player, or audio CD player as required. Fully-trained staff will be on hand to assist you with operation of any of the studio equipment.

Using a scale of 0-5, a viewing facility must score at least 3.0 in each section and must score a minimum of 3.5 overall to qualify for VFA membership.
